Anna Nguyen, CPA

Anna is Senior on Opsahl Dawson’s Audit & Assurance team and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Washington State. She focuses on financial statement audits and reviews, supervisory committee audits, internal controls, GAAP compliance, and data-driven financial insights, serving clients across financial institutions, nonprofits, and construction industries.

Anna earned her Bachelor of Science with Distinction in Accounting and Finance from Purdue University and later completed her Master of Professional Accounting at University of Washington. She also holds a Master of Science in Business Analytics from Trine University, where she graduated with a 4.0 GPA.

Prior to joining Opsahl Dawson, Anna worked in audit at Hauser Jones and Sas, where she developed strong experience in audit and assurance services, internal control evaluation, and compliance reporting. Earlier in her career, she gained tax compliance experience as an intern at Custom Truck One Source, supporting multistate sales and use tax filings. During graduate school, Anna also served as an accounting tutor for undergraduate students at the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business.

Anna enjoys helping clients gain clarity around financial reporting and compliance and supporting them through complex accounting challenges with confidence. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, baking, painting with gouache and acrylics, and working with ceramics. A fun fact—her favorite recipe to bake is strawberry chiffon cake.
