Brian is the Chief Growth Officer at Opsahl Dawson, bringing extensive leadership experience from his time as a special operations officer in the Navy’s Explosive Ordnance Disposal community and as COO of a Pacific Northwest software company. His firsthand experience with outsourced finance and accounting partners inspired his passion for helping businesses and communities thrive through strategic partnerships. A seasoned strategy and operations leader, Brian has successfully guided teams and scaled companies ranging from startups to large divisions within growth equity and Fortune 500 firms. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, an MA from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service, and a BS from the United States Naval Academy. Brian lives in Portland, Oregon, with his wife and two children. Outside of work, he enjoys cooking, surfing, hiking, and embracing the challenge of staying active while parenting energetic young kids.
