David supports Opsahl Dawson’s operations, bringing a strong public accounting background with an internal, firm-wide focus. He earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Accounting from Texas A&M University.
Since beginning his career in 2015, David has built a diverse tax background, leading compliance engagements, supporting transaction consulting work, and most recently working internally on the national tax team of a nationwide middle-market firm. He enjoys the dynamic nature of public accounting and values the opportunity it creates for both clients and professionals by balancing long-term planning with day-to-day execution.
Outside of work, David enjoys scuba diving, cooking, and volunteering at his local animal shelter. A fun fact—he has biked across the country twice: from Providence, Rhode Island to San Francisco, California, and from Seattle, Washington to San Diego, California.
