Areas of Expertise
Jacob supports Opsahl Dawson with office operations and brings a background in accounts receivable, certified payroll auditing, and process improvement. He attended Pasadena City College and is currently pursuing his bachelor's degree in Business Data Analytics.
Prior to joining Opsahl Dawson, Jacob worked as an analyst auditing certified payroll for public construction projects to ensure compliance. He also worked closely with contractors, helping them understand financial reporting requirements related to fringe benefit plans and prevailing wage.
Jacob enjoys analyzing processes to find opportunities for improvement, helping customers solve problems, and providing excellent service.
Outside of work, Jacob enjoys exploring and hiking the national parks of the Pacific Northwest, cooking different types of pasta, and discovering new restaurants and breweries with his wife. A fun fact—he loves Corgis and has attended an annual Corgi race for more than 10 years.
