Kendra specializes in trusts and estates, as well as individual and nonprofit taxation. She brings a thoughtful and detail-oriented approach to helping clients manage the complexities of estate and trust planning. She earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Washington State University Vancouver and began her career as an intern with Marshall Waldman, CPA, where she gained hands-on experience over six tax seasons before joining Opsahl Dawson. Kendra is passionate about supporting clients through life’s financial transitions, especially when it comes to navigating intricate trust and estate matters. Outside of work, Kendra enjoys playing tabletop, board, and video games with her family, solving puzzles like Sudoku and Kakuro, and collecting unique Funko Pop! figures—especially anything related to Batman and the DC universe.
