Matt’s career as a CPA, since working with local firms in East Texas, focused on YouTube, transportation and real estate clients while specializing in areas of taxation including tax resolution, high-net-worth individuals, and small businesses and their owners. He brings his experience to ODC in forward-looking tax planning to address each client’s unique situation.
A first-generation American, Matt earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Texas at Tyler in 2012 and his Texas CPA license in 2015. He is a current member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants.
In his personal life, Matt enjoys music, video games, grilling, shooting, and spending time with his family and two dogs. The Zurawskis are fans of the performing arts; a passion cultivated by his wife’s background in musical theatre and his own experience as a drummer. While attending Tyler Junior College, he was a member of the Apache Punch drumline which was nationally recognized for becoming Winter Guard International Percussion Independent Open Champions in 2008. Professionally, Matt’s goal at the firm is to continue learning, contributing, and advancing his career as a CPA while serving as a trusted advisor.
